Welcome to the Gloucestershire Early Years Inclusion Champion Award 

Thank you for taking your first step towards becoming a Gloucestershire Early Years Inclusion Champion!  This platform sets out a programme of support, training and CPD opportunities for your whole team to embark on together to improve outcomes for all children in your setting.

If you are ready to start this exciting journey, please find your setting on the drop-down list and we will make contact with you within five working days.   Please note that you must have at least a good Ofsted rating in order to register on this platform.    Once you are registered, you will have phone and email access to a named Inclusion Advisor throughout the programme.   On registration, you are eligible to request between £1000 and £2000 to help  you to complete all requirements.  On successful completion of the award, a further similar payment will be made to your setting .

There is a comprehensive training commitment and support to enable you to evidence good practice in the following areas:

• Creating an inclusive learning environment (indoors and outdoors)
• Creating a positive behaviour environment
• Increase practitioners' confidence and skills to deliver inclusive practice
• Building positive relationships
• Getting Ready for Reception
