Welcome to the Gloucestershire Early Years Inclusion Champion Award 

Thank you for taking your first step towards becoming a Gloucestershire Early Years Inclusion Champion!  This platform sets out a programme of support, training and CPD opportunities for your whole team to embark on together to improve outcomes for all children in your setting.

If you are ready to start this exciting journey, please find your setting on the drop-down list and we will make contact with you within five working days.   Please note that you must have at least a good/expected standard Ofsted rating to register on this platform.    Once you are registered, you will have support from a named Inclusion Advisor and your staff must undertake a comprehensive training commitment.  Please engage with the support offered to ensure you remain on track with your progress.  You must sign a Service Level Agreement to be eligible for £1,000 to £2,000 to help you to complete all requirements.

You will be required to evidence good practice in the following areas:

• Creating an inclusive learning environment (indoors and outdoors)
• Creating a positive behaviour environment
• Increase practitioners' confidence and skills to deliver inclusive practice
• Building positive relationships
• Getting Ready for Reception
